Clinical Education:
As part of our mission to advance the professions of physical therapy and occupational therapy, the Department participates in clinical education of physical therapy students and occupational therapy students throughout the course of the year, and affiliates with educational programs throughout the country.
Our Department also offers a Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Residency, a Pediatric Residency, a Women's Health Residency, a Manual Therapy Fellowship, and a Sports Medicine Division I Fellowship.
Our clinical staff is intregal in the clinical and didactic training of the Duke University Doctor of Physical Therapy students.
Duke has a Physical Therapist Sports Fellowship that offers an in-depth experience in the management of complex knee and shoulder problems for recreational athletes, as well as high school and professional athletes, with a defined subspecialty in the management of Division I athletes.
